B46D 5″Utility Knife

Introducing the B46D series, one the very latest models from Xinzuo Cutlery. These knives are expertly crafted using Full Damascus steel, a special type of Damascus steel superior type of steel that consists of 110 layers of high carbon and low carbon steel. Our Pure Damascus blades are crafted by layering two steels with different hardness levels numerous times, transversely to the blade’s edge. The entire blade, including the edge, consists of alternating layers of extremely hard and slightly softer steels. When used correctly, these blades tend to become even sharper with use. This remarkable phenomenon occurs because normal wear affects the softer steel layers more, resulting in a microscopically serrated knife edge.

The blade, made from Full Damascus steel, is renowned as one of the best performing steels in the world. Its innovative design ensures great sharpness and durability. Full Damascus steel has a higher carbon content than regular Damascus steel, which increases edge retention, hardness, and tensile strength. These knives feature an impressive HRC steel hardness of 60 ± 1 on the entire body of the knife. Moreover, these blades have undergone Vacuum Cryogenic heat treatment, which improves the hardness and corrosion resistance of the steel by inhibiting grain growth and forming fine carbides.

Adding to the overall elegance, each knife in the B46D series is adorned with a premium natural Desert Ironwood Handle. Not only does this luxurious handle add a touch of sophistication, but it also provides a comfortable grip that enhances precision and control during use. Desert Ironwood is one of the most highly-regarded woods in knife-making, with its density, stability, and grain patterns and colors creating a unique combination of characteristics that’s ideal for decorative handles.

Designed with the needs of professional chefs and cooking enthusiasts in mind, these high-quality knives are the perfect tool to elevate your culinary experience. From the impeccable craftsmanship to the exceptional performance, the B46D series will surely be an inseparable companion for cooking.
